Buzz Book

The Buzz Book is a telephone directory created by the PTO.  PTO membership dues paid at the beginning of the school year, entitles you to one complimentary copy of the Buzz Book.  Its purpose is to provide a listing of telephone numbers, home addresses, as well as e-mails of all families in the school district that wish to be published in the directory.  The directory also provides a listing of all school personnel, Board of Education members, PTO School Reps., and PTO Executive Board members.

The Buzz Book is distributed in late September or early October.  The committee chairperson is responsible for updating the Buzz Book master copy by assisting with the update in the PTO database.  This includes adding new students, deleting students that are no longer in the school system, changing grades and revising addresses and phone numbers when necessary.  The Chairperson is also responsible for arranging printing and distribution.  Committee members are needed only in late August and September to assist with updates to the database and proofreading.  Computer knowlege is a must.
