WHRHS Scholarships

Each year the PTO Scholarship Committee selects scholarship recipients from the graduating class of Watchung Hills Regional High School.  To be eligible for this scholarship, the senior must be a Long Hill Township resident who graduated from Central Middle School.

In mid-May, the Guidance Department of Watchung Hills schedules an evening meeting and notifies the PTO committee chairperson.  The purpose of the meeting is to provide various community organizations, including the PTO, the opportunity to review scholarship applications and make selections.  The Scholarship Committee consists of no more than three people and there are no special requirements.  Each member, however must respect the confidentiality of student scholarship applications and financial status.
